Tim Povtak of the Orlando Sentinel Reports: Horace Grant, who won three NBA titles from 1991-93 in Chicago playing alongside Michael Jordan, remains skeptical about the ongoing reports that Jordan has decided to end his three-year retirement and play again in the NBA.

Jordan, who will turn 39 in February, told reporters Monday in Chicago where he practices that he will make his announcement within the next 10 days, hinting strongly that he will return this season.

"I'm just not convinced it's going to happen. I know how my body feels now at 36 compared to how it felt earlier in my career," said Grant, who rejoined the Magic as a free agent this summer. "He's going to be 39 this season. And your body just doesn't heal or respond as quickly. I don't know why he would do it. There's nothing left for him to prove. But if he does, I'd wish him well."

Magic rookie Steven Hunter was one of those who played in Chicago with Jordan last month, and he said he believes Jordan will return.

"He looked like Michael Jordan to me," Hunter said.
