Josh Barr of the Washington Post reports that the Wizards are expected to announce the signing of the number one pick in last month's draft, Kwame Brown. Brown is expected to sign a three-year guaranteed contract worth $11.9 million before the team's four-day mini-camp begins Friday morning.

Also, the Wizards have agreed to terms with Los Angeles Lakers free agent point guard Tyronn Lue, according to a source familiar with the situation.

The source said Lue agreed to a multiyear contract, with an annual salary believed to be about $2 million. He is expected to sign the deal July 18, the first day free agents can sign with other teams, and will probably back up starter Chris Whitney.
