According to the Houston Chronicle's Jonathan Feigen, the 18th pick -- which was awarded them and then taken back by the league a couple of weeks ago -- will probably come to Houston after all.  The question is, will Vancouver (and so, Detroit) get it?  The #18 pick is originally New York's and was sent to Phoenix.  Orlando has an option to take the pick and, if they do, they must pay Houston with it.  It is not eligible to be sent to Vancouver, but Vancouver is willing to waive the conditions because they need a top-18 pick to pay Detroit -- which they desperately want to do this year.  However, Houston is considering using the #18 along with the #13 to move up in the draft.  Vancouver will have to give them some kind of incentive to give up the pick, but none has yet been offered.
