Bruce Bowen blocked a layup attempt by Jason Terry with just a few seconds left on the clock that would have tied the game. The rejection sealed the victory for the Spurs, who kept Jason Kidd from pushing the Mavs to an important win. Read about Bowen’s block and more in the RealGM Daily Rundown for February 28th’s games!

Brent Barry will wait out the 30 days and then will stick with San Antonio, the East Valley Tribune is reporting.
According to the report, Barry let Phoenix GM Steve Kerr know of his decision on Thursday evening. The Suns had offered the veteran guard a multi-year contract and playing time, but in the end Barry's family already being settled in the San Antonio area was the decisive factor.
"He let us know he’s staying where he is and won’t be joining us," Kerr said. "We still have a few days to pursue some other avenues and possibly still add to our roster, but that remains to be seen."
