The NBA has released the second 2006-07 NBA annual awards schedule.
The NBA All-Defensive team will be revealed on April 30, the Rookie Of The Year will be announced on May 2, and the Sportsmanship Award will be announced on May 3.
Most believe that Portland guard Brandon Roy is a lock to receive the Rookie Of The Year

The Blazers can't negotiate or talk about free agents until July 1, but indications are they will pursue Seattle small forward Rashard Lewis and Denver point guard Steve Blake.

Trail Blazers forward Ime Udoka will miss the rest of the season because of right knee soreness.
Udoka was averaging 8.4 points and 3.7 rebounds in 75 games. The Portland native was a training camp invitee considered a long shot to make the roster, but Udoka impressed coach Nate McMillan, and not only earned a roster spot but became a starter.
