Brent Barry will wait out the 30 days and then will stick with San Antonio, the East Valley Tribune is reporting.
According to the report, Barry let Phoenix GM Steve Kerr know of his decision on Thursday evening. The Suns had offered the veteran guard a multi-year contract and playing time, but in the end Barry's family already being settled in the San Antonio area was the decisive factor.
"He let us know he’s staying where he is and won’t be joining us," Kerr said. "We still have a few days to pursue some other avenues and possibly still add to our roster, but that remains to be seen."
