Brooks put together a plan for each of his players around the time the regular season ended. The Oklahoman reports that Brooks and his staff have spent the last four months traveling to meet with individual players for workouts and one-on-one attention. "We've basically touched every player somewhere, either in their hometowns or they came back here or we met them in summer league," Brooks told the Oklahoman. "Our players are committed to getting better, and I think they've executed it. "That's a big part of our summer. Summertime is the time to really develop on your individual skills in your game. And when they come together in fall camp, my job is to take all that individual improvement and wrap it all together and make a better team." "Ever since they got the team, I thought about coming home," Jackson told the Oklahoman. "Just hopefully I get a couple years under my belt, become a vet and maybe I'll get that chance to come back home and play." Jackson averaged 1.9 points and 1.7 rebounds for Cleveland as a rookie in 2008-09.
