Tyshawn Taylor Injured In Fight

Sophomore Kansas guard Tyshawn Taylor was treated at a hospital Tuesday night after being injured in a scuffle among athletes.

A person close to the situation says Taylor was treated for an injury to his hand that may sideline him for 4-6 weeks.

The Lawrence Journal-World first reported on the injury. It said the scuffle involved both football and basketball players.

RealGM Note: Taylor is expected to be a first round pick in 2010 should he declare.

Wake Forest Honors Rodney Rogers

Former Wake Forest and NBA star Rodney Rogers was honored before the Demon Deacons' football game on Saturday.

Rogers, who is wheel-chair bound, received a standing ovation from the crowd.

He injured his spinal cord riding a dirt bike in November 2008.

Memphis Tigers Land Top Point Guard

Joe Jackson, a 5-foot-11 point guard from White Station High in Memphis will be attending the University of Memphis next fall, SI.com has learned.

Jackson previously considered Tennessee and Kansas, but will announce his decision at the Larry O. Finch center on the Memphis campus Friday night, where his high school team practices.
