Unicaja announced the signing of center Joel Freeland to a multi-year deal on Monday. Freeland (208, 22) arrives from Kalise Gran Canaria, where he averaged 12.5 points and 6 rebounds in four Eurocup games last season. He was a main reason that Gran Canaria advanced to the regular season in the competition after posting 21.5 points on 75% shooting in the Eurocup second qualifying round games against Benetton Fribourg.
