Jackson: Lakers Miss Radmanovic

The Lakers traded Vladimir Radmanovic to the Bobcats last month for Adam Morrison and Shannon Brown, a move that saved the team about $17 million.

Radmanovic was often knocked because of his inconsistency, but Los Angeles coach Phil Jackson says that the team misses him.

"He's a qualified player. He can do things, he's going to have an impact on ballgames," Jackson said. "We miss him, there's no doubt about it. But that's it -- water under the bridge, you move on."

Bobcats Tie Franchise Mark With 33rd Win

The Bobcats won their 33rd game of the season on Saturday night, tying a franchise mark with nine games left in the regular season.

Charlotte defeated New York 96-85 at Time Warner Cable Arena in North Carolina.

Gerald Wallace led the Bobcats with 23 points, 9 rebounds, 8 assists, 3 blocks and 2 steals.

Charlotte trails Chicago by 2 1/2 games for the eighth, and final, playoff berth in the Eastern Conference.

May Unlikely To Receive Charlotte's Qualifying Offer

Sean May is unlikely to receive the Bobcats' $3.6 million qualifying offer to restrict his free agency. He will likely be forced to sign a short-term deal to prove he can stay healthy.

“That will take care of itself,” May said, “at the end of the season.”
