Pacers center Roy Hibbert has recorded consecutive double-doubles, the first two of his career.

He is averaging 10.8 points and 10.3 rebounds through Indiana's first four games of the 2009-10 season.

"In the very near future, if not right now, he's going to be a dominant low-post scorer, a guy you can count on throwing the ball to and getting you points," teammate Jeff Foster told the Indianapolis Star.

Hibbert said during the preseason that his offensive game was still a "work in progress," noting that he needed to finish stronger around the basket.

"I am feeling more comfortable down low," he said after Wednesday's win over New York. "I just need to know the time when to score because I want to be that presence down there. I just need to stay aggressive and more confident when I get the ball."
