Bosh is averaging 31 points and 14.7 rebounds through Toronto's first three games. He started the 2008-09 season off very strongly, but faded as the year went on. "That was one of the major concerns coming into this summer," he told the Toronto Star, "not only the second half of the season but the second half of games and just being able to stay strong. "It's easier said than done ... but I'm just trying to stay consistent, that's my main thing this year. I know last year I got off to a really good start and I really, really regressed as the season went on. I'm trying to keep it steady this year." He added 15 pounds of muscle in the offseason, which has made it easier for him to crash the boards. "I'm more inside on the offense, I'm in the right positions," Bosh added. "That's all it is. You have to get positioning early and you have to be strong with guys, but you have to be inside first and that makes it a lot tougher on a team." |
