The Grizzlies are continuing to negotiate a possible extension with Rudy Gay as Monday's deadline looms.

Reports claimed that talks between the team and their young forward had stalled, but Memphis general manager Chris Wallace says otherwise.

"The talks never died," Wallace told ESPN on Saturday. "We have been talking since early in the summer."
