Mavericks owner Mark Cuban says that Greg Buckner will not be on the team's roster when the season begins.

Buckner's contract is only partially guaranteed, which means that Dallas can waive the forward and owe him only half of his $4 million salary.

"Buck won't be here," Cuban told the Dallas Morning News. "We will either make him part of a deal or free him up so he can get another job. It's not fair to him to just drag it along."
