Portland big man LaMarcus Aldridge isn't worried about negotiations on a possible contract extension.

Wednesday is the first day that talks can begin and if the Blazers and Aldridge don't come to terms on a new agreement, he will become a restricted free agent after the season.

"People always ask me if I'm worried (about the negotiations)," Aldridge told the Oregonian. "And I'm like, 'No.' Because I love being here. I love this city. I love my teammates. It's like, when something fits so well ... I'm not worried about it. I have faith that everything will work out."

Aldridge's representation, Arn Tellum of the Wasserman Media Group, put together a package comparing Aldridge to the league's best power forwards.

It lists him as the sixth best in the league, behind Pau Gasol, Chris Bosh, Tim Duncan, Antawn Jamison and Dirk Nowitzki.

Those five players averaged $14.6 million last season.
