Devin Brown has exercised his $1.1 million player option for the 2009-10 season with the New Orleans Hornets on Wednesday. Brown's decision was confirmed to RealGM by agent Mark Termini.

The seven-year vet appeared in 63 games with New Orleans this season, averaging 5.2 points and 1.9 rebounds in 13.8 minutes per game.
