No one had mentioned the word rebuilding in Chicago until forward Drew Gooden after a four hour practice on Thursday, the Chicago Sun-Times is reporting.

'I think it's a rebuilding year even though we have some guys that have been here for years playing together,'' he said. ''We have some new guys, a rookie point guard in Derrick Rose that we want to help lead this team. We have some rebuilding to do. We have a new coach in his first year in Vinny [Del Negro], a new coaching staff, so they're trying to get a feel for one another. But we're going to put this thing together.''

When asked if the Bulls can make the playoffs while rebuilding, Gooden said, ''Anything is possible.''
