Former NBA rebounding king Dennis Rodman has been charged with domestic violence for allegedly hitting his girlfriend back in April, according to The Associated Press.

A Los Angeles City Attorney spokesman said that Rodman was charged on Wednesday with spousal battery, brandishing a deadly weapon, and one count of dissuading a witness.

The charges are all misdemeanors.

"We look forward to a successful resolution of this misdemeanor matter," said Rodman's attorney Paul Meyer.
