Bakersfield Jam guard Mateen Cleaves was today named NBA Development League Player of the Month for games played in March.

A D-League veteran from Michigan State, Cleaves averaged 21.6 points, on 56.3 percent from the field and 36 percent from three-point range, to go with 10.1 assists, 5.7 rebounds and 2.3 steals in 10 games during March.
