07/24/08: The Denver Nuggets sign center Chris Andersen.
03/05/08: The New Orleans Hornets signed free agent Chris Andersen to a contract.
03/20/06: Arbitrator Calvin Sharpe upheld the NBA’s January 27, 2006 dismissal and disqualification of Chris Andersen of the New Orleans Hornets for his violation of the NBA/NBPA Anti-Drug Program. Anderson and the NBA Players Association had filed a grievance challenging the penalty imposed on the player, and that grievance was denied.
01/27/06: The NBA dismissed and disqualified New Orleans Hornets forward Chris Andersen from the league for violating the terms of the Anti-Drug Program.
07/19/04: Chris Andersen signed a 2 year, $3.4 million offer sheet with the Hornets. Denver has agreed not to match, so the offer becomes an official contract.
09/29/03: The Nuggets signed Chris Andersen to a minimum salary contract.
