From the Fans
Horford looks like the newest of the next generation BIGS, strong, fast, mobile and with both O and D.

Horford is also considered one of the most ready to contribute.

No matter what we do with #11, we will have had a good draft.

Re: Boston/Seattle trade rumor

I don't know if I do the deal for Ray Ray but I keep having visions of his performance in the playoffs against the Spurs a couple years ago... Dude is a straight up baller and really doesn't duplicate Pierce in terms of style of play. There's no question that if both of these guys are healthy and the young players on the team are able to fill roles accordingly that a trio of PP, Ray Ray, and Big Al would be deadly. It's definitely intriguing at the least. I'm just not confident that Ray is going to be healthy for a long enough time to make it worth the cost.

I'm for this deal. Zach and Frye are similar players on the defensive end but, Zach is far beyong offensivly then Frye will ever be. Zach and Curry playing together will be impossible to stop. Lets not forget that Zach is an excellent rebounder as well. Webster is a young player who has tons of potential. He could be the outside shooter we are looking for. To me this deal is Frye for Zach and Webster. Moving Francis is a bonus.

There is nothing on New York that would accommodate Portland in anyway except maybe David Lee. Portland needs a small forward, however. Not a "I'm injured oh wait I'm not today is my name Derek Anderson?" guard in Steve Francis and a poor man's Aldridge in Frye.

RE: Portland/New York Trade talk

Webster is a good shooter. He's really young (didn't he come out of high school?)

I was against trading Frye, but this isn't a bad deal. We get rid of Francis, get a solid starting PF that plays on the block and get back a shooter.

If they make us throw in the #23 i say no, but it would depend.
