Draft Night is one of the most exciting nights on the NBA calendar. For many teams and their fans, it offers hope and it symobizes change. It gets our minds thinking, as we plan out moves which could re-mould our favorite teams to make that push for the elusive championship that we each strive for.

RealGM kicks the proceedings off by offering you insight into all 30 teams, covering what they have, what they need, and what they may do. You can also build your own scenarios by using RealGM's Draft Simulator, which gives you full control of who goes where.

Portland Draft Preview
Greg Oden or Kevin Durant? Sam Bowie or Michael Jordan? Which way will the Blazers go?
Seattle Draft Preview
The Supersonics, like the Blazers, are a big winner thanks to the lucky bounce of the ping pong balls. So what happens from here?
Atlanta Draft Preview
Will the Hawks draft the point guard they so desperately need with the third pick?
Memphis Draft Preview
Will the Grizzlies walk away from the draft with a can't miss power forward?
Boston Draft Preview
If the Celtics aren’t going to trade their pick, they should look to add size to their young, but smallish roster.
Milwaukee Draft Preview
The Bucks are limited as the small forward position and there are a few that will be available to them with the sixth spot.
Minnesota Draft Preview
Wing players will be aplenty with the 7th pick, but the Wolves could use a quality big man.
Charlotte Draft Preview
Whether or not they decide to bring back Gerald Wallace, they must address their lack of depth at the small and power forward positions.
Chicago Draft Preview
Joakim Noah will likely be available with the ninth pick and not only he is a perfect fit for Chicago, Chicago is a perfect fit for him.
Sacramento Draft Preview
Ideally the Kings would be able to add a lengthy big man who could step back and hit mid-range jumpers as well as rebound, but that type of player is hard to come by these days.
Atlanta Draft Preview (11th)
Atlanta's 11th overall choice is clearly predicated on what they do with the third pick, so Mike Conley early could mean Billy Knight gets another wing late.
Philadelphia Draft Preview (12th)
The biggest need for Philly is an athletic scoring forward who is capable of playing both the small and power forward positions.
New Orleans Draft Preview (13th)
The Hornets will likely address their backcourt in this year's Draft with players like Julian Wright and Rudy Fernandez being possibilities.
L.A. Clippers Draft Preview (14th)
Law would be a perfect fit, and aside from giving them valuable depth, he’ll provide heart and enthusiasm for a club lacking both.
Detroit Draft Preview (15th)
With only the ancient Lindsey Hunter and potential free agent Flip Murray serving as suitable backups to their All-Star backcourt tandem, it is obvious where Joe Dumars must focus his first pick in this year’s Draft.
Washington Draft Preview (16th)
The Wizards need to deal the disgruntled Brendan Haywood away and use this pick to either stock their front court with the best available post player, or add depth to their guard positions.
New Jersey Draft Preview (17th)
Most credible mock drafts have New Jersey selecting a post presence, and rightfully so.
Golden State Draft Preview (18th)
Without a doubt, the Warriors need help on the boards. An athletic power forward who can block shots and rebound should be where Chris Mullin & Co. exclusively look.
L.A. Lakers Draft Preview (19th)
The Lakers have not built their team around Kobe Bryant, but have built players that fit certain roles. Bryant needs a lot of defenders and guys that can hit open jump shots.
Miami Draft Preview (20th)
Does Miami look to fill holes in the roster, like the one at small forward, or do they draft the best player available in order to make an immediate impact in the weak Eastern Conference?
Philadelphia Draft Preview (21st)
While we already have Al Thornton penciled in to Philly with the 12th pick in the Draft, we can expect that they are looking to sure up their backcourt with a very dynamic scorer, or they can go with a big man who brings fundamentals to their limited frontcourt.
Charlotte Draft Preview (22nd)
Without a consistent scoring threat, points were hard to come by in 2006, and with the 22nd pick they could look for that explosive, off the bench spark that they’ve been missing.
New York Draft Preview (23rd)
There are two areas where the Knicks need immediate improvement, and they are shot blocking and reliable three-point shooting.
Phoenix Draft Preview (24th)
Looking at their depth chart, it is obvious that they are missing two key components: a team-leading pass-first point guard to allow Nash to rest and an athletic rangy big man who can run the floor and guard Tim Duncan.
Utah Draft Preview (25th)
We expect the Jazz to focus on a shooter, as their style lends itself to a smaller line-up. With that said I don’t think there is a player the Jazz couldn’t use, aside from maybe a point guard.
Houston Draft Preview (26th)
Because of the Mike James trade, the Rockets will turn their sights on the power forward position.
Detroit Draft Preview (27th)
With the expected selection of a dynamic point guard available at the 15th pick, the Pistons must take advantage of the opportunity to bolster their depth at small forward.
San Antonio Draft Preview (28th)
Even championship teams need to reload, and the Spurs are no exception. They need an upgrade at point guard behind Tony Parker and they also need to get younger on the wings.
Phoenix Draft Preview (29th)
Since the offseason that saw both Quentin Richardson and Joe Johnson change cities, they have experienced a drought at the two-guard position, being ‘forced’ into using Leandro Barbosa as a shooting guard.
Philadelphia Draft Preview (30th)
Assuming they addressed the needs for forwards earlier in the draft, they should focus on grabbing a solid addition to their backcourt.
