Pierre Jackson has been outstanding in the D-League, but is in a difficult situation in regards to his NBA future.

"(Europe's) on the back of my mind," Jackson told CBSSports.com over All-Star Weekend. "My family needs the money. I need to provide for m family so whatever I have to do, I'll have to.
"The NBA's always been my dream, and I think I'm good enough to play there. But the way the cards are dealt, I may have to go overseas for my career."
When the then-New Orleans Hornets traded away Tyson Chandler to the Charlotte Bobcats for Emeka Okafor, Chris Paul and David West began privately discussing the possibility of leaving the franchise.
"[Paul] knew I was going to leave because I knew he was leaving. We had open conversations about that," West said. "The writing was on the wall probably the season, two seasons before that last year."
Paul embraced New Orleans, but the franchise was in turmoil for much of his tenure.
"The toughest thing was the instability. You just never knew what would have happen," Paul said.
Paul's brother, C.J. Paul, said the "final straw" was when West informed them he wouldn't re-sign in free agency.
"We had talked about possibly sticking together. But once he realized that I was gone, I knew he was definitely going to check out," West said. "It was time for us to find new space."
Said Chris Paul: "I missed David West. My partner. My right hand man."
Paul returns to New Orleans this weekend for the All-Star Game as a member of the Los Angeles Clippers.
The Milwaukee Bucks are interested in Eric Gordon, who the New Orleans Pelicans are making available in trade talks.

With the additions of Jrue Holiday, Eric Gordon, Tyreke Evans and Austin Rivers, there's a popular sentiment around the NBA that Dell Demps has assembled a glorified AAU team for the New Orleans Pelicans.
That collection of four backcourt players are viewed as needing the ball in their hands to be effective, whereas the NBA has moved toward spacing in the halfcourt.
Demps points to the lineup data of the Pelicans' desired closing unit of Holiday, Gordon, Evans, Ryan Anderson and Anthony Davis as being one of the best on offense in the NBA. That lineup has scored 123.5 points per 100 possessions with an assist rate of over 20 percent before they were hit by injuries.
“One of the goals was to make sure we had a team that’s deep and hard to guard,” Demps says. “We wanted to be hard to match up against, and we were before the injuries happened. At times, we were unguardable.”
