Let me address something about bandwagon fans. Every team in every sport has them. I'm not going to be hating on them. They are just in it for the fun and through the good times only.
Now for the true Celtic fans. We are in it through the wins and losses, thru the good times and the bad. Some of us have been felling the pain for about 22 years now since our last title in 86.
For the Cetlics Pride. The true fans have that. But it's the coaches, the ownereship and the players that need to have it for it to really count.
Doc Rivers is a great guy, but he doesn't know anything about Celtic Pride. No coach with Celtic Pride will allow his team to get beat by 30 points at home in a game 7. See the series vs the Pacers a few years ago.
I love Paul Pierce and I appreciate that he plays hard through injuries. He is a warrior. But that's different from Celtic Pride. Pierce doesn't know about Celtic Pride because he was our best player in the series vs the Pacers. He was apart of the 30 point, game 7 loss at home.
Pierce showed he has no Celtic Pride when he got punked by a rookie at the end of game 3 in this series.
If someone like Horford had pulled that **** on Larry Bird, Bird would have torched them the next game by scoring 40, pulling down 15 rebounds and dishing out about 12 assists. That is Celtic Pride. Not Pierce, who allowed a rookie to disrespect him and the Celtics. Pierce followed up the next game by going 5-14 from the field and allowed his team to lose.
So lets not get Celtic Pride twisted. Bird and the 80's Celtics had it. The Celtic teams in the 50's and 60's had it. Celtic Pride is dead among the players and this team, until they can otherwise prove it to the true Celtic fans .

I plan on a repeat performance.
as an aside, got a pass for sections 5&6 tonight, woot, we fine dining and all that ish!
CalderCup. Keep it up. Hopefully you can inject that Celtic Pride in the people around you with the noise you will be bringing. Hopefully that Pride can get into the Celtic players, because IMO they don't have that Celtic Pride in them now.
Our fans have to get loud and rowdy. They have to become our 6th man.

No **** Pierce isn't Bird. But Pierce is a very good player who is capable of huge games. Not that 5-14 bull **** he put up in game 4.
We were talking about Celtic Pride and Pierce hasn't show it. I'm not talking about these 2 games. I'm talking about his career here. Again, I love Pierce but he hasn't won ****. He has no excuses now. He is playing with KG and Ray Allen. His got the talent around him. It's time to shine now.
