i know somebody who is looking forward to seeing Nocioni lineup at PF across the court. . . KG would do filthy, filthy things on a regular basis to that young man if he moves out here to the atlantic. . i have a feeling chris bosh might be a little excited as well

I think this has potential for both teams. I think Nocioni's overrated and perhaps a bit overpaid, but would be a good offensive option @ PF alongside Jason Kidd...he might not be better all around than Nachbar but isn't expiring and could be a good fit (I don't think they'd start him @ PF). Sefolosha has potential too, decent defender...Antoine Wright's supposedly played well at various times this season, but he's expiring and I can't help but think he's stepping up because its a contract year. I wouldn't want to give up Marcus Williams for that package, but maybe the Nets have scouted Sefolosha well.

Its great for Chicago IMO just to be able to unload Nocioni's contract (they don't need him) for expiring contracts and a little more depth.

I think the Bulls are doing this deal either as a 3 way with Memphis or they hope to eventually turn around and deal the expirings, Tyrus Thomas, and Marcus Williams etc in hopes of landing Gasol.

If Bulls are making it a 3 way they need to get the Pacers back into it and get JO instead of Gasol.

hmm two teams with no decent bigs trading with one another hoping to get better. I don't see it helping out either team.

If NJ trades VC for JO after that, they'd be looking pretty sharp and tough.

Kid
RJ
Nocioni
JO
Kristic or Williams

That looks like a bunch of mediocre players changing hands. Nocioni is alright but, yea not really anything special.

The Nets get the better of the deal. I guess the Bulls can't get a good big man for Nocioni.

NJ IMO would be stupid to make that deal. O'neal is always injured and just not the same player as he once was.

I hate how Pacer fans and managment think they can get anywhere near the value they think they can for JO. He is seriously on the decline and should be had for maybe a nice piece and some scraps.

Remember where SAR was several years ago...the same comparison could be made for JO. Granted O'neal was better than SAR, but his talents will diminish like other psuedo great injured PFs in the past several seasons (KVH and A. Davis are other examples).

That original trade was bogus. It doesnt work because of Nocioni's BYC status

Latest Bulls rumor is Wallace to Lakers for Kwame & Vlad. Last week Stupid Sam Smith made it up - but an LA writer now says it makes sense & could happen.

There is a thread on it on LA Board.

Bulls GM Paxson says he is receiving lots of calls. apparently other GMs are hoping he will sell cheap

However, paxson is very reluctant to trade. His last (and only) in-season trade was Nov 2003 - over 4 years ago (that was Jalen Rose to Toronto)

I think it's a good trade for NJ if they can do it. Nocioni is the best player in that group by a long shot and sebo whatever has some upside. wright and marcus williams are never going to be anything and magliore is done. the only player NJ is really giving up is nachbar who has been decent for them

B Diddy for Ray Ray would be awesome. I still wish we had pulled the trigger on that deal to get him a couple years ago but I really can't be too upset since I've always liked TA. Hopefully he stays healthy this time around because it looks like he's becoming a force once again.
