And who said he has to be a leadoff hitter? He's got a great glove, very good speed, and has atleast shown at some point in his career that can he hit. I think he's a lot better than what some Boston fans give him credit for being.

As a Mariners fan, we'll take Coco (and Coco only, your first deal sucked) if you take back Jeremy Reed and Mike Morse. We'll throw in someone like Andrew Baldwin for good measure.

BBJ is right in that the Mariners don't need him, but I'd rather have him than any other fourth outfielder not named Brad Wilkerson.

He's a virtuoso with the glove. He could hit .200 and still hold value as an every day player.

No, it means that you're the Gold Glove. DUH!!!! Which, unless I'm misunderstanding the words "Gold" and "Glove" is what this discussion is about isn't it? You don't normally call a guy a "Gold Glove" CF if he's neve won one, regardless of who he is. And Coco has been in this league how many years now?
