Comeback Yankees

I have 5 names that I think the Yankees should investigate in acquiring:
Kenny Rogers
Greg Maddux
Troy Percival
Todd Helton
Torii Hunter

A combo of a couple of these guys could get the Yankees back on track.

Rogers is injured.

Maddux may be worth a shot.

Percival... well who knows?

Helton... could help the Yanks loads.

Hunter... I'd just wait and see what he does this off-season. It wouldn't be too smart to give up a lot for a rental.

The Yankees will not acquire any of these players. They will, however, not be contempt to just choke at the end of the year and not do much at the trade deadline like the 2006 Red Sox. They'll make a move.
