West just took a scary looking tumble, stayed down for awhile, but I think he'll be fine. Just looked like he got the charleyhorse from hell is all.

He took it over in the 4th. He had 11 in the 4th and Baron had 2. This is a big win for the Hornets.

Thanks 510Reggae. We hope he's ok too. Some of your fans even clapped when he finally got up. That was nice.

I hope it isn't a bruised or cracked tailbone or anything like that. He'll be sore as h*ll tomorrow though.

reporting just a bruised hip.

Starting Hornets forward David West suffered a bruised hip in the fourth quarter after he fell backwards trying to block a layup by Golden State's Stephen Jackson. He grimmaced in pain as the entire team came on the court.

West eventually limped to bench and his status for Saturday's game against Phoenix has not been determined.

That was so nasty when he did it. You could hear it. He hurt that rim something awful.

chandler had the coolest look on his face after the dunk. he's like "yeah i know that was a cool dunk, and you think it too. now watch me run back down the court..." lol

i think i have a crush on the dude now.

speaking of dunks, since mo pete had a great game when we really needed him after DX got hurt, here's a cool dunk from 2000, back when he won a NCAA championship with Izzo and the great MSU:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=twuQF9fQxHo

I saw someone post this on hornets247.com. great find by that person.

guess who is number 23 jumping up and down on the sidelines? dude looks the same huh?

what a cool dunk! i hope David is all right. and what an unexpected win. who seriously thought we'd win in Oakland? they have such great crowds!

That dunk was NBATV's dunk of the night and Tyson was the Player of the Night. The thing about that dunk was the crowd's reaction to it afterwards. It's like the crowd got a little worked up over it. They continued mumbling even when the teams went to the other end of the floor.

"Chris Paul is as close to Steve Nash as you're going to get for a while, and he's going to be quite the player for a long, long time," Nelson said.

From another forum:

****** wrote:Speaking of the GS game. I was lurking on a GS forum and it was brought to my attention that Baron was telling his teammates "f&ck him up if you can". Meaning CP3 of course. Then right at the 2:50 mark CP3 goes in the lane for a layup and Baron tries to take his headoff. So I go back and look at it and sure enough, you can actually read Baron's lips and hear him say this. What an *ss.
