There was a thread on here asking what happened to the Paul Pierce of old. The guy who could dominate a game. Well we saw that old Paul Pierce tonight. He was brilliant. He didn't overly force the issue, he kept the ball moving, created for others and dominated when they needed him to the most.

What I liked about his performance is that in the end - he didn't force it when it wasn't there. He let the other guys take shots too. He just didn't let it end up as a mano vs. mano contest..

That was the kind of game that defines a career. You have the high stakes, and the fact that Lebron was on the other side playing at the top of his game, and Pierce wouldn't let him keep the Celtics from advancing. Without knowing what else Pierce has in store for us, I know that in 20 years a lot of people are going to remember this game, especially if we win a championship.
