^^^ Agreed. Lebron has really let things go to his head in the few years he has been in the league. He is really turning into a bit of a jerk.

He has some entitlement issues.

I don't agree. He did leave the court in a split second, but you have to understand how the other team feels after losing a game 7. I would have liked him (and the others who left quickly) to stay, but these guys aren't robots. I can almost guarantee that he will give the Celtics major props when he speaks to the press.

He played great and came up short, I would be disappointed if Pierce had just walked out had we lost without congratulating Lebron. It's called sportsmanship. I'm sure the C's don't care and it's really not a big deal but it does show a lot when guys pull that ****.

if LeBron leaves the court after a 4 game sweep, then I would question his sportsmanship. I am not going to question him after a game 7 loss, especially when he thought they had a great chance. Like a poster above said, he will send the celtics their due, but he doesn't have to do it seconds after being eliminated.

Lebron can keep his all-star MVP award.

lbj should have had at least 2 more fouls but everything is marketed around lebron. heck half the commercials I watched were lebron. we overcame a lot to win this series; bad officiating, bad shooting, a no show from ray allen etc. thank god today for paul pierce,kg,PJ and eddie

This will go down as one of the all-time classic Celtics games, forever known as the "Pierce/LeBron Duel," shown on ESPN Classic and included in future Celtics DVD retrospectives, and may very well be the defining game of Paul Pierce's career thus far. Just an absolutely amazing game, made even better by the fact that the Celtics pulled through, with guys like PJ Brown and Eddie House doing the little things, Garnett gobbling up the glass and playing defense, and Ray Allen not letting his atrocious shooting affect the rest of his game. An absolute gem, and one that will go down in Celtics lore. I could not be prouder of this team.

Hi everyone,

I'm new to the forum (this being my first post) having been an on and off again NBA watcher for 30 years. I live in Australia and back in 1989 had limited access to whatever games they'd show over here. It so happened they showed a lot of Celtics games with Bird etc so I ended up supporting them.

In the last decade I only really watched playoffs and have only really starting watching with an NBA pass most C games this year. My understanding of the intricacies of the game is still growing and the trade/salary cap etc is like talking another language to me but I really am enjoying the game and watching the Celts.

In any case sorry for the bump, but I was watching this game on DVD and it was fun riding the waves of emotion here while doing so.

The last post could not have been more accurate.
