Antoine should do color after Tommy packs it in.

Absolutely. The haters on here are the same ones who blame Doc for everything from a loss to getting fired from their jobs...tin-foil hatters.

Antoine is a CELTIC and I'm glad he's still a part of the family, even though he doesn't play here anymore. When he's ready to hang them up I hope the C's can sign him to a 1-day contract just so he can retire a Celtic.

Great idea! He would be more fun then donny in my opinion.

Toine is always welcome back at the garden. Always. Any ex-celtic, who was once good is, as long as they represent their color.

I bet you Antoine gave Paul an earful before the game. I mean, is it any coincidence this is the first game of the playoffs Paul took over offensively at times, and Antoine happened to be there?

Exactly. An infuriating player to watch, but a great guy, and a Celtic! That'd be awesome if he does anything in any capacity with this team--except play.

Not a terrible theory. :)

Include me among those who have warm feelings for Antoine. He sometimes put enjoying his life ahead of basketball, and many of his on-court decisions for the good of the team as he saw it weren't actually the best. But he tried VERY hard to win games and series for us even so, so I see no reason to retract my previous rooting for him.

So I'm coming up the escalator to the entrance right by the Cav's bench. Antoine's standing right there shooting the **** with someone. It was pretty cool and he definitley got a warm ovation when they showed him on the jumbotron.

Besides Jay-Z and Beyonce, Rob Lowe was there (I have no idea why). Also, Jonah Hill from Superbad and Knocked Up was there. Pretty random.

So guys, my question is this: Is there any chance Antoine suits up in a Celtics uniform next season? I believe this will only happen if we get rid of the stockpile at PF.

I wouldn't mind this. He could be very good off the bench.
I'd like to see Antoine retire a Celtic, even if he only signs a 1-day contract at the end of his career. And I'd love to see him move onto something within the Celtic family, whether he does the TV or Radio for the games or even an assistant coach.

I bet you anything he talked to Paul last night before the game...they are still friends and talk quite often.

Toine really wishes he was with the Celtics, i could just tell he always played with such passion and motivation even though he was not that great a player. he also always brought out the best playing days of Pierce. I will always hold a special place for Toine with the celtics and in my heart.

Same here, although I think you don't give Antoine enough credit as a player...he was damn good in his prime and he gave 110%.

Yup and he was always proud to be a Celtic. And that's even when we were bad.
