On SportsCenter, the Big 3 were interviewed and asked who do you want to take the last shot if it comes down to it

Pierce said Ray
KG said Ray
Ray said open man

We all know Ray wanted to say himself

Yep, I mean, I was pissed when he took the shot. Beacause I would rather go for the tie there. But, still if the game is on the line, I want ray in there. Clutch.

Anyway, let's just win this won. Good ole' fashioned butt-whooping.

From the Boston Globe's Celtics Blog:
It's definitely not the usual atmosphere here this afternoon. It's hard to describe, but everyone seems nervous. The Hawks locker room is usually rowdy, but Atlanta players were all sitting in front of their lockers and not saying much. A sign on the door of Atlanta's locker room reads, "Shock the World. Hawks Playoffs 2008."

The Celtics locker room is empty, minus P.J. Brown. Kendrick Perkins stuck his head in, saw the mass of media, and walked the other way.

No one wants to talk today.

^^^Well, this was to be expected.

Talking about the media, Peter May will leave the Globe as soon as he submits his last article about the Celtics-Hawks series, regardless of the outcome. Here's to him never writing about the Celtics ever again.

And you just know, deep inside, he would love that article to be negative.

lets hope that KG has a repeat of his only other game 7 in the playoffs. that was against sac in the semifinals, he went for somethin like 32 pts, 16 reb, 8 ast, & 4 or 5 blocks, all clutch too. two game saving blocks & a few clutch FT's if i remember right. lets hope for that from SOMEONE!

please win this, dont make this the longest offseason ever, b/c if we lose, itll be a loooong & horrible offseason.

go celtics!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

FYI - Bibby is not the reason they are tied in the series. In fact, Bibby is one of the player's on the floor that scares me the least for Atlanta. Bibby is the one player on thier starting5 that has been consistently outplayed by whoever he is matched up against.

FYI - I realize that. ya'll misunderstood me. i didnt say bibby was the sole reason atl is in a game 7 with us, i mearly meant that he gives them leadership & playoff experience. never once did i say he would carry the hawks to an upset series win. i jus stated that he's a proven playoff vet who could explode for 25+ today. he's done it before. after the 1st two games of this series, he's been decent. not the same bibby, but he could be.

but i seriously doubt that w/o bibby, that atl would be here in a game 7. i kno he hasnt had a huge impact, but w/o them, they're not here.

Absolutely. He needs a farewell piece that would solidify his legacy. It won't happen, though :)
