This team's history is filled with games like we saw in ATL followed by games like we saw tonight. The "Ghosts" didn't come from 4 game sweeps and blow outs, they came from epic battles, 6 and 7 game series and snatching victory from defeat. That is what was amazing about Russell's Celtics not that they were dominant that they found a way to win again and again. Much of Bird's legend was built on letting inferior teams live a little too long in series or letting them back in a game that looked put away only to pull it out.

I will tell you what Celtic Pride isn't is pissing your pants after a speed bump. I know its been a long time but lets at least act like we have been there before.

To all the Celtic fans at the game tonight, great job. You all were loud, rowdy and crazy. You guys became the 6th man tonight and brought the energy that this team needed.

Victory cigar for Mang!!

Great game by the C's. Much better effort tonight. I will say that even though Sammy shot great, he made me cringe on each FG attempt. He still is looking to shoot too much. If our shooting is off then he could really hurt us.

I thought Cassell did a better job passing up the truly contested shots for other players with better looks. Although when he first came out chucking I was ducking for cover!
It's still 17 to 11!!!!

Agreed though--Sam is not here to play defense or run the point (even though he had ~6 assists). He's here to hit (good, uncontested) shots when the Celtics need them, and that's what he did.

Excellent Mang. The force is strong in you. I think this makes you eligible for sainthood.
