Mang's right. We went 66-16. There's absolutely no reason to suddenly assume the team isn't championship caliber. They played some bad games against a team that was more up to play than them. They'll bounce back.

Can't forget that Pierce's back may still be hurting. I think he's gonna take some of that hurt out on Atlanta tonight!!

Good to see some excitement in here. Now hopefully our squad is just as amped as we are.

Go C's.

I also felt Pierce is hurt. I've looked around to find something about his injury after the game 2 fall. But I haven't seen anything. There is got to be some reason why he had such a lame game 4.

It's just speculation on my part, but the way he's not driving to the hole--and the missed layup--tell me that something must be bugging him a bit.

Admittedly, Pierce is the guy who scored 30 ppg for a month WITH F***ING BURSITIS in his elbow, so this clearly isn't a huge pain for him, but probably just enough that he doesn't feel comfortable taking it to the rack. Just my worthless observation.

They way he shot free throws in game 4 was strange...he was almost stiff-arming them up there. Maybe he was dinged up.

He's gonna lay down the hurt on the Hawks tonight, though!
