Well, trash talk just got our captain fined 25,000 dollars, and al horford nothing. Can you see why I and other celtic fans were pissed?? Good thing scal was there to hold PP back, otherwise who knows, he might have been suspended. Things like this have happened before, a instigator like Q-rich (and hawks fans, I am not comparing Horford to q-rich at all!) can get in pierces head. So when I see things that horford did last game, it get's me a little upset.

Haha seriously, its no big deal. Its not your money.

I don't care about the trash talk - but standing over a guy shouting and pointing is just out of line.

was it menacing when damon jones did it after almost every 3 he hit the past 5 years??

lol. what a pathetic league.

even joe johnson is talking crap saying you guys gave up.

i hope you guys bury that team tonight. i'll be watching my raps fight for their lives against a better team which makes me sad to say, but hopefully when i see the highlights if this game it'll be a 30 point blow out.

kg was on fire last game, all he needs is a few more players playing like they did in the regular season and its over.

It's insane that Pierce was fined, and the NBA should seriously be ashamed of themselves for robbing money from their employees like that... but I also don't think Horford should have been fined either. Players making "gestures" and getting hyped up after a big play is a part of what makes sports so exciting, IMO. Damn right it's GREAT for the NBA that Pierce is upset and tossed that "gesture" to them; especially if he comes out and cleans house tonight... and it's also great that Horford comes out with a chip on his shoulder. When these great athletes come through hyped up and ready to kill each other, it only makes for great sports entertainment. I love this ****.

The sign that Pierce threw is a gang sign indicating an intention of murder (literally). Whether that was intentional or not is unknown. Pierce is lucky he didn't get far worse than a fine.

Well, that's exactly the same sign. And people involved in gangs are often extremely irrational.

I'd like to hear Pierce's explanation for what it's supposed to mean.

I read the thread. Doesn't change the fact that Pierce threw a gang sign.

Why the ef would the league fine him for throwin up a sign for boston?

The league is aware of gang signs, otherwise he wouldnt be fined. Obviously the league determined it was a gang sign, by the way pp walked towards the bench and flashed it. Unless yer sayin you know what he was doing. Which you don't.

He threw the blood sign. a gang sign. it's not a big deal. He just got real pissed at him and he went back to his roots in inglewood for a quick minute. I hope he drops 40 on em.
