I'm not sure, but it sounds like Perk is out for this one, which means that we have to go with Show, Baby and Scal as our big men rotation (Doc also loves Posey at the 4). Not too bad, but this time it's against 6-11 Duncan, 6-10 Oberto and 7-0 Elson. And our biggest player is 6-8. But Powe is a fighter. I would also put Scal on Duncan all game long.

Also, our record is 38-9, not 37-9.

God.... I really hope we win this one. It sucks ass that Perk, Pollard, and KG will most likely all be out for this game. If we lose we'll have to hear, "See the Celtics have no depth and really can't match-up with the west after all! Told ya so!" blah blah blah. Instead of hearing how great the bench and roleplayers have been doing in lieu of KG's absence. Ah well. :-\

Perk would be perfect for defending Duncan in this game. Now we are in trouble...

Still, I believe we will win today!

We'll probably lose this one, but at least the bench is getting some minutes. Whose starting at Center Powe, Baby or Posey?

I'm going to the game today and bringing my boy , at 18 months,to his first game. If he is bad, his mother will have to watch him because I will be a little preoccupied.

Pierce needs to step up.

He's in a slump, in the past few games...

Without Garnett and Perkins, getting a win against SA is pretty unlikely, but that's why we play the game. Never know what can happen.

I thought prior to the Minnesota game, Pierce has played pretty well. He's just not shooting as much, which is fine if the team is playing well too. He shot 53% from the field 2 games ago, and almost 80% after that. He shot poorly against Minnesota, but still had 6 assists. I think he's trying not to do too much, or looking for the right spots or the right time to do his thing. He hasn't put himself ahead of the team, though.

Biggest game of the year if the whole roster was healthy.

If Pierce and Allen have big games we may be able to stay in the game for a while. BBD/Powe also need to step up big time, but if they are capable of playing well in the post against Tim Duncan then Pierce and Allen may be capable of handiling Parker/Finley/Bowen in the front court. I don't know but I'm thinking we have a real shot at winning this game if we can control Duncan.

We can do this. It would help if we could get Timmy into some foul trouble, so let's hope the refs are betting on us.

Uh, here we go with the Scal clangs.

All Scal does is sit at the three point line and wait for the ball to be delivered. I hate it. He never follows his shot, and he rarely makes the three when he gets the ball at the permiter. He is getting some rebounds on the defensive side today however

Powe w/ 2 fouls. Uh-oh.
