It is a monumental achievement to eliminate this Nuggets team in a 7-game series.

Most of us said a Denver/Boston Finals is inevitable & we’re going to be right.

It’s Joever.

Denver signed a deal with the devil.

Boston another finals loss in 6 games to zombie Murray and Djokovic.

Aaron Gordon might be the best role player in the NBA.. Since no one would say he is a star player.. 10 out of 10 at this level cannot be overstated

Edwards is obviously better than Jaylen but Brown showed if you have a big frame & have a quick first step you can get buckets pretty easily against this Denver team.
I say that because I feel as though people are overreacting to Edwards at the moment.

Denver looks very disciplined about not fouling. Part of why they so lethal in the clutch, especially in games wit tight whistles.

And yes, I know they just fouled a couple of times. But one was in an awkward scrum for a rebound, and one was on a disorientingly quick attack. ... Uh, the Braun foul has neither excuse.

This would be a 3pt game with 28 seconds left if Gobert and Ant made their free throws. Ouch.

So much for Ant and Brunson would never let something like this happen.

How could you not win a single game at home after leading 2-0?

Ant would never allow it, right?

When was the last time we saw Tatum score over 40 in the playoffs and the Cs lost?

Only thing that annoys me about the Ant/Brunson talk is it always has to be compared to JT as if somehow them playing well has anything to do with who JT is as a player or our ceiling. Also the ridiculous assertions about the #1 never allowing opposition to win on home court regardless of how the rest of the team plays.

Ant may well end up better than JT and if he does, it's no slight on JT. We have not seen the fully formed version of either and right this second it looks like Ant may well be better. However JT has been through many more tests under much more scrutiny to the point of Spo creating "The Tatum Rules". Ant has not had that yet.

I absolutely LOVE watching Ant play and his attitude. I absolutely LOVE watching JT play and think his attitude is great pretty much all the time, even though I want him at times to be more aggressive. I respect Brunson but don't like all the foul baiting (JT doesn't do it as much but I don't like the many times he does either).

The biggest difference in watching Ant and JT for me is I care 1000000000000 times more about how JT plays because he is on the Celtics and therefore is the only reason I ever feel frustration with him.....but really, he is pretty amazing regardless of whether Ant ends up better.

Perfectly said.

I still prefer the pacers over the knicks. The knicks still have a closer in brunson. Especially with the soft whistle he gets while being the one bumping into defenders, he would still be tough to stop in close games. They still have size, and shooting. Only problem would be if they are still standing after Thibs run them to the ground. Pacers don’t have a closer. Hali is much easier to stop. He is also not an aggressive scorer. He doesn’t pressure you compared to brunson. We are great defensively, and we can match their scoring. The nba will favor calls for the Knicks, and not for a small market pacers.

I want the Knicks, but it's looking like Thibs has burnt out his players.

Boy, Towns really sucked in this game. I feel like he hasn't really improved his game at all since he came into the league. Letting Jordan Jr down.

Return to Boston Celtics
