Since when? It's ALWAYS been done, either by outsiders or fans/experts alike.

but the thing is wade is not on his level.
considering he's been able to excel on the highest stage this game has to offer (with any excuses you want to throw into the equation), I'll definitely agree Wade isn't on T-Mac's level, he's one better.

in the 06 finals series, wade was not doubled team one bit until game 5 and 6. and even then, it was sporadic. shaq may not have put up the stats, but the double teams he drew consistently allowed wade to go wild. only after game 5 of that series, teams started to double wade more and more.

and you have NEVER heard of the phrase, "he doesn't have enough help and playing by himself out there" with dwayne wade.

we all saw how he played and how his team played last yr when he had no help.

tmac's playoff stats are on some legendary type of stuff that is only rivaled by lebron james right now.

28.5, 6.8, 6.2, 1.5, 1 (tmac)
27.7, 7.8, 7.2 (lebron)

nobody else right now currently playing have those all-around #s.
I am NOT getting into a T-Mac/XYZ debate, that wasn't my intention, and I thought it was clear by my earlier posts I was just stating a few things here and there to supplant my views.

Greg Ostertag, as HORRIBLE as he was, made 2 NBA finals so this isn't exactly a good thread to be making that reference. Tmac hasn't won a playoff series ever, do I think that is completely his fault? NO!!!!!!!! However, Houston fans piss me off so much that I enjoy reminding them about the futility of their star.

.... and ditto on the futility of your pathetic franchise

23 looks at it with nothing to show for, is the equivalent to every time you have the bases loaded with 2 outs and your big gun comes up to bat, he hits a lazy dribbler back to the mound.

The tale of your pathetic franchise has alway been "close but no cigar"

Likewise, Rockets fans also enjoy reminding the Jazz how their pitiful franchise as never won a ring

Seriously though, why don't you guys just take the win and go worry about the Lakers or something.
Because the rockets fans wont get out of the Lakers/Jazz thread....

Reminds me of the Houston franchise for the past decade or so. Except they can't even escape the first round...although it is amusing that a fan of Houston sports team would have the balls to use a baseball analogy when it comes to futility.

I'm sure it's had nothing to do with injuries to Yao.

2007 playoffs, with Yao, Mcgrady= it's on me....still no first round win.......I agree, the premise of making a big deal about Tmac not making it out (bc he has had crappy teams most of the time), at the same time, I dont feel bad for the guy for getting the crap either...

The 'Stros are 0-9 and the Jazz are 0-23 (soon to be). Plus you fail to mention how hard it is to make post season play in baseball.

I mean if my team had a big fat 0fer in 23 showings I would be obliged to leave that info out as well

1- You realize the Jazz could just as easily have 2 titles and the Rockets have none. It just so happens you made the finals when MJ wasn't there, and we had to deal with him.
2- I have only been following the NBA since 96, so your insults really mean nothing to me because the Rockets have been even more futile than the Jazz in that time frame. So keep living in the past and the present will continue to pass you up.

Yeah, but once you make the post-season you just have to win 3 rounds. And the first is just a 3 out of 5. And before 96 it was just winning 2 rounds.

The Astros are so pathetic out of that they managed to make 1 World Series out of those 9 times.

I'm hoping the media keep harping on this... In 2010 his contract expires. At that point, I see T-mac signing with SA for the MLE...A la Brent Barry, breaking his 2nd round cherry, getting 2 rings and generally having a great time...

SA will not be a dominate team in 2010.

Utah will

And i can assure you when TMac jumps ship, The Utah Jazz will be right there to keep him out of the second round. If he wants to get out, go back to Orlando.

If the Astros are pathetic, then what about the other teams like the Rays, the Cubs, and every other team not to make the WS at all during those 9 years.

Didn't you get the memo? Only 1 team wins the championship each year, only 2 get to the WS each year. Unless you are the SOX or the Yankees, the Astros are most likely better over the past 10 years.

My little sister could make better points than you can.

According to Rocket fans, anyone who doesn't win a title in a season is pathetic. So I guess using Rocket fan logic that would make them, well, pathetic.

Much like the NBA Championship. One 1 team can win it per year and only 2 teams can make the Finals in a given year.

Every team in the nba is chasing the champs and if you never win the champs you are still a virgin. At least Houston won two champs and some franchise never had one.

Nah, Melo is better and has more heart. At least he doesn't get tired in every tough game.
