Everyone gets lucky once.. Hell, the Atlanta Falcons were in the Super Bowl.

Yup, KG's only been out of the first round once in his career

Wow, Boston are stupid as ****, you traded for KG so you could have Ray Allen chuck up a shot every possession? What a shock that getting the ball to KG inside actually stopped the bleeding during the Atlanta run

Atlanta got lucky, because Bibby wanted to choke that game away, but Allen just kept returning the favor

Why would you think that you'd have an easier time with Cleaveland (assuming you can hold off the Hawks?) Did you forget that guy Lebron James? As good as Joe Johnson has been, Lebron is that much better. Atlanta's outside shooting is horrible compared to Booobie Gibson and Wally Szerbiak and even Devin Brown. The interior defense and rebounding is better on Cleaveland than on Atlanta.

Because First off: While Atlanta has the size and athleticism advantage in the front court. We have that same front court advantage against Cleveland.

Cleveland isnt very atheltic and wont be running on us. Which plays into the strength of our defense.

Al Horford is better than any big on Cleveland. Josh Smith is an excellent defensive matchup for KG. Outside of Lebron. The Celtics have much better overall matchups against Cleveland.

I started cracking up when they ran those highlights of last year's Mavs Warriors series. I don't think it will happen, but man, two years in a row of this madness is great!

Horford and Childress are studs, and Bibby needs to stop shooting. It's amazing they won with him jacking up brick after brick down the stretch. But I guess when the team you're playing against just absolutely crumbles late in the fourth, you can weather your washed up old PG taking a bunch of bad shots.

wow...i am loving it...it doesn't even matter if the Hawks win the series now, the fact that they took this series to 7, it proves that they arent a fluke and then makes them either look as good as the Celtics or makes the Celtics look overrated...

or just proves the theory that its really hard to win in ATL...

Yes, but Cleveland plays in a halfcourt. The Celtics won't have to outrun them, they'll be able to use their halfcourt defense, which was among the best in the NBA(maybe even the best?) instead of having it be totally useless against a team that runs a million miles an hour all game long. In that halfcourt defense, they're going to have to do a good defensive job on LeBron. That's it. The rest of the Cavs are just not very good. All they have to do is play good defense on LeBron, and that will, believe it or not, be easier than trying to defend the entire Hawks team who plays like they're on speed the whole time, because the Cavs play a slower-paced game.

I don't think you realize how strong this Atlanta Hawks team is. They won 37 games this year. That's 22 games MORE than Miami, who won the Championship two years ago.

Joe Johnson is probably the 3rd best player in the entire league

of the guys who play on teams with losing records, behind Wade and Brand.

OK, I'm out of reasons as to why the Hawks should be tougher than Cleveland.

The sad part about this statement is that it's 100% true.

If there was one thing Antoine Walker never was it was scared to take a shot in the clutch. 'Toine was as aggressive as they come back in his prime (which was probably why he chucked up so many ill-advised shots).

The offensive boards are killing the Celtics by he way. They have to rebound better.
