I like that.....

Forget everything else.....

KG IS INTENSE FOlks.

People kept saying he was the biggest competitor in the NBA saying he was MORE intense about winning than Kobe.....

YEAH....SURRRRRRRE.

Dude cant come CLOSE to Kobe in terms of desire to win.

It makes sense now why he toiled on Minnesota teams that failed to make the playoffs for 3 consecutive seasons.

He says he wants to win....but he's scared of the big moments.

He's Chuck Barkley, Patrick Ewing and Karl Malone.

Guys who had stacked teams that just didnt have it in them to get the job done.

KG tonight looked like Malone in many a series Ive seen him and same wiht Chuck.

Chucks' teams were STACKED many years and still lost.

These guys can shine Kobe's shoes man.

He's above ALL OF THEM on the all time rankings as far as im concerned.

And there are no excuses for KG. For years everyone said he was just as good or better than Duncan but never had the supporting cast. And here he is needing a Game 7 to get out of the first round against the #8 seed.

:nonono:

KG's still a great player, but no matter what happens, the first round of the 2008 playoffs closed the conversation on whatever "KG>TD?" discussion there was left.

There's no doubt in my mind that in this exact scenario, Tim Duncan takes at least 4 shots in those last 3 minutes. Win or lose, he would TRY to will his team to victory. Seriously KG, demand the ball, bang in there, and make the bucket.

Go Hawks! Maybe if the Hawks win game 7 the Celtics will fire the incomptent Doc Rivers and hire a good coach.

Fixed.

They've destroyed Atlanta at home. I really don't think the Hawks have a chance.

Dude, Rondo is not a 3 pt shooter at all. He had absolutely no business being in the game. I realize the idea was to pass to the man off the pick. But Cassel or House should have been in there if the guys coming off picks werent open.

I thought the Celtics were supposed to sweep. I totally underestimated the Hawks. But how does a 66 win team struggle with a 37 winner?

This will be epic if Boston loses in game 7.

Good luck hoping for that scenario. KG is the anti-clutch.

its a bad shot because Rondo isn't a good 3 point shooters... especially at the range no matter how open he is. If you saw DJ Mdenga take a wide open 3 point shot you would say its a bad shot too... Whats worse is that you have a player considered clutch sitting there on the bench named sam cassell who can hit those 3s and they didn't have him on the floor (like have derek fisher out there and you put in coby karl to finish the game at the 3 point line)

There was basically zero left. KG:Okafor is TD:DHoward. That conversation stopped a LONG time ago. Apparently KG thinks that cussing a lot will get him back in it.

Acie Law's 2 points + Paul Pierce's clutch technical = 3 pts. The Hawks won by 3 points.

All hail Acie Law.

Rivers has panicked. He decided to play Cassell and Brown instead of the guys who got him 66 wins. Rivers doesn't deserve to win this series.

Abd even if the Celtics win game 7 they will lose to Cleveland in the next round because Rivers can't coach.

So am I just the only one who understands that the Hawks being generally a decade younger than the Celtics is a big part of why they're giving the Celtics such a hard time? They're just plain outrunning and outjumping the Celtics. I don't know of any other team in the league that plays at such a frantic, uber-athletic pace. The Celtics would probably have an easier time against the defending champion SPURS or the #1 seeded Lakers than they are having against the Hawks because they play a much more controlled game and play in a half court set and won't make the 30+ year old Celtics have to outrun and outjump them. I'm not saying they would definitely beat the Spurs OR the Lakers, both would be difficult series', but they wouldn't be as annoying/frustrating as the Hawks are for the Celtics.

hey man i dont wanna get you upset or anything cuz your a respected poster and i was just trying to have some fun. Im pretty sure boston will win at home, i just cant believe the hawks are going to a game 7...g/l though

Its all good. I am pretty shocked myself. All 3 of these road games were winnable. Hopefully our home domination continues. But Doc Rivers coaching at the end of these close games has been HORRIBLE. I dont care how many regular season wins we have. Coaches earn their money at the end of games. Doc should be giving money back.
