Lakers have never benifited from bad calls. In fact, the Lakers have never lost a game because another team played better. It's just that evil Vince McStern.

I expect the Lakers to win game 3.

I'm loving this ****..my theory is proven right..

I wish I wasn't lazy and would look up my posts from a few months ago..

I talked about how when the Celtics started winning more, there would be MANY complaints about the officials, because of their physical defense..the same reason my Spurs get **** on..well, looks like I was right..

everyone always has their fake reasons, but the truth always comes out eventually..

A pair of phantom fouls on Kobe ruined the Lakers' first-half rotation, and at the intermission Boston had attempted 19 free throws to L.A.'s two (one of these being a technical foul on KG). After three quarters the margin was 26-to-4, and the final total was 38-to-10.

This disparity was even more puzzling since the Lakers' game-plan called for them to constantly drive the ball to the hole. And several replays showed exactly how biased and inconsistent the refs' decisions truly were.

No surprise, then, that the Lakers were distracted, annoyed, and even outraged all game long. And rightly so.

1) if you ref a game based on previous series you have issues.

It's not about officiating one game (per se) that I am feeling vindicated about. It's the fact that LA finally got the short end of the stick in regards to calls. I'm sure any Blazers, Kings, or Spurs fan can attest to my sentiment.

2) which calls were so terrible? I would be happy to counter

This thing extends way past this season and specific calls, as there are too many to count over the past few years.

wow, ok. Well, if you have such deep seeded conspiracy theories that dont allow you to speak on the actual game/incident vs. your "karma" theory, then why do you even bother watching the NBA?

If I was a fan of a team and I looked at a call that should and or should not have been made based on previous years "calls"..then , well, I wouldnt be a fan of the NBA and or my team.

Celtics:
45 perimeter shots
23 shots in the key
38 free throws

Lakers:
42 perimeter shots
41 shots in the key
10 free throws

Lakers fans need to stop whining.

I couldn't care less about the state of the NBA than I do now. I am solely a fan of my team.

Also, I get that you're a mod and all, but can you turn down the condescension? Jeez. I was just voicing an opinion.

So then why are you trying to bring up previous years of officiating into this discussion?

being a mod had nothing to do with it. You are trying to draw this comparison between tonights game vs. games ref'd in the past. I am sorry if I call BS on that. Most would.

And yet some Laker fans still believe that the 2002 WCF wasn't changed by the officials

this is just strange..

I predicted all of this..

first I predicted a lot of fans would turn on the Celtics for "getting calls" from the refs..

I predicted the Lakers would have games where the refs were actually "against them", but a lot of people wouldn't care because of LA's history with favorable calls..

damn..sometimes I just impress myself..NBA fans are so easy to read..the biggest hypocrite fans in the world, myself included..

sorry that I sicken you..do you want a hug? I'm a pretty good hugger..

I don't know about me reffing..I would definitely be fixing games, to be honest..

if I ran the Spurs, we'd probably have 9 titles in a row, to be honest..

On the subject of Lakers needing to be more aggressive and taking it strong to the basket and the Celtics are perfect on defense and never foul...

The officiating was really one sided in the first quarter and had 3-4 terrible calls vs the Lakers, but after that it was pretty even and the Lakers just got outplayed. Dont come in here talking about non calls with the Gasol dunk when the Powe dunk on Turiaf was easily 10x more noticeable foul wise, or the Radman breakaway where he took like one dribble to go 75 feet and took about 6 steps, or the 3 or 4 over the backs Odom and Gasol got away with.

Boston was the much more aggressive team when their bangers were in the game and they attacked the basket a lot more than the Lakers did. Kobe only really started attacking the basket in the 4th, Odom maybe had one dribble drive to the hole, and most of Gasols shots were point blank layups that he made. The only couple of calls that I can remember the refs blatantly missing after the 1st qtr were mainly calls in the 4th on Kobe dribble drives, but besides that there wasnt much there.
