There's a fundamental issue in this series. As we all know, a series doesn't start until the road team wins a game. The Cavs/Magic series never started and thus cannot have a winner. Boston should be petitioning the NBA for a walkover.

They're not going to be able to piss pound Cleveland like they did Miami and the possessions get more tense for Boston with the closer the games are.

No reason for me to believe it isn't going to be a competitive series until I see otherwise.

One thing for Boston they better hope they get KP back & he stays healthy.. now that they handled Miami... they got a cake walk with the butler injury.. playoffs start now for them

I think Celtics wins in 5 or 6.

Cavs needs to pack the paint, let Boston launch all them 3s (like 100s of 3s) that they like to do and hope that they miss, grab the rebounds. Score onm the other end, then they have a chance!
KP is out, so , Cavs has a chance!

Cavs are better than the Celtics' opponent the last round (Miami) but not by much.

Vegas odds says... Celtics -3 is the series handicap. Unlike the Heat, a sweep is unlikely but Cavs should still fall in 5 games.

Let's just start the ECF already or at least hope no injuries in both East semis so we'll get a closer Celtics vs Knicks East final.

Also, Cavs/Celtics have met in the playoffs many times over the decades. LeBron 2nd stint Cavs have owned them the past decade or so. 3 times in the playoffs.
Obviously different times, teams.

Prior to that Celtics normally owned the Cavs in the playoffs. Younger LeBron 1st stint Cavs teams (twice in the playoffs).
Early 90s Cavs beat them in the playoffs

'80s Bird/McHale/Parrish teams beat the Cavs once in the playoffs.

'70s. Cs beat the Cavs in the one playoff meeting.

Overall wins Cavs 24, Celtics 22
Overall series wins. Cavs 4/Celtics 4.
