In the playoffs so far, it’s definitely been Ant but Gobert was much more consistent earlier in the season.

It's Ant. A good example of how advanced stats can be misleading.

The wolves team is just well constructed. A star guard needs frontcourt help and a strong defensive anchor who is not a scorer needs wing defense and offense from elsewhere.

People said kat and gobert couldnt work, but we are seeing how their different games mesh well together.

It has comfortably been Rudy Gobert all season (Karl-Anthony Towns was more reliable and efficient than Anthony Edwards game-to-game), but Anthony Edwards' quality of play on both ends has exploded, in this post-season.

In RS, it's Gobert but in playoffs, it's Ant. Even in the RS in the games where Ant is fully locked in, he is the best player

If they want to further , it’s Ant .

We know what Gobert is and isn’t but Ant is growing fast these playoff.

It's Ant and then Rudy.

That said, both players playing peak ball is going to be needed for a deep run. I really can't see them winning if one disappears.

Wolves just have a very well constructed starting lineup.

Rudy. What he does goes underappreciated for a big. He also is able to cover KAT's lapses defensively, he's pivotal to the Wolves.

I think Conley deserves more love.

This is a good question for the regular season (even KAT should be put in conversations), but once playoffs start Edwards is not just clearly more valuable than Gobert but Ant is the best under-25 player in the World.

Gobert got abused by Jokic yesterday once again.

Jokic went 11-25 and was forced into erros, plus we got the win. So I say to you parroting the same bs narratives of the last years:

I'd argue that it's just different in the RS versus the playoffs.

In the RS, their offense was sort of average to bleh but they were by far the best defense in the league, which drove their success more consistently than did Ant's offense. But in the playoffs, Ant lighting everyone up like a Christmas tree has changed the narrative some. So far in the playoffs, Minny has been the BEST offense in the league instead of the 16th. And of course even as we speak of defense, mentioning Ant's contributions there does need to happen.

So, a little more fluid a discussion depending on which portion of the season we're discussing. I'd lean Ant because they still needed to have someone floating that scoring volume and it sure wasn't going to be Gobert, of course. Edwards clearly contributed more to the D than did Gobert to Minny's scoring output.
