Every day after a big playoff game it seems as though there is a competition to have the most simple-minded take.

Was this a thread that absolutely needed to be made? With a half-arsed opening post to boost.

This absolute desperation from the anti-Embiid crowd is making me like the guy

It’s fandom vs fandom hate. It is what realgm is built on. From Kobe and Lebron battles in the past to the present day hating. In my 20 or so years on here it has not changed.

I'm not anti-Embiid ( I didn't even make a post in that big topic where they discuss if he is a dirty player), but I think that with this game , Maxey will have more value; and the Sixers could easily build around him, if they consider to get a haul for Joel...

It is astounding how much emotional harm Embiid has caused to certain members of GB. OP, let it all out.

I'm a Laker fan, who would prefer Embiid and Philly to beat the Celtics, if possible; so I don't know what you are talking about...

Why is your name Sixers in 4? That's like my username being "Grayson Allen is an MVP candidate" or "the Jets have a great track record."

In the words of Jokic: “everybody is injured this time of year”

It's amazing that so often in sports we criticize athletes for sitting out of games with minor injuries or not caring.

Embiid has no business playing on a surgically repaired knee right now throw in some facial paralysis with bells palsy for good measure. Oh and because his GM sucks and traded Drummond as a throw in for Harden he also has had to play every minute of the 2nd half in these games.

Instead of giving the guy some credit for gutting it out the entire game thread is calling him a choker, lol. Just crazy.

This thread? I love Maxey but we watched him without Embiid when the 76ers went like 11-22 and looked worse than lottery teams.

If you don't know, Maxey's a super streak player. He usually has pretty long streaks, not just like 3 minues or whatever; he'll be totally unstoppable and will make like 9 of 12 extremely tough shots one quarter and a half, and then spend the next quarter running around trying to get free.

This game he happened to be on a heater when it mattered most, but we've seen him have absolute duds in the clutch a lot of times too. He's my favorite Sixer since AI and I love him, but he's not the type of guy you build around in the way you can Embiid.

There was speculation he has a prosthetic leg. Maybe even a prosthetic eye.

I don't think he's better than Embiid but if you replaced Embiid with Jokic they would steamroll the east.

Well if he could NOT do that on Thursday I'd really appreciate it. Thanks in advance.

Larry Bird put up 43 points as a career high in the playoffs.
