But his decision making and body language is horrible. You can't have him as your leader no matter what.

He's literally always hurt. That doesn't work as an excuse anymore when you got hurt for all 10 of your pro seasons and your only college season. You can't act like something that has happened 11 years in a row is in any fashion a surprise or a deviation from the norm. Hurt Embiid is the real Embiid.

That makes no sense. Embiid could have easily just sat out the rest of the season and the 76ers would have lost the play in game. Instead he risks the long term health of his body and gets flack for not playing up to his usual standards. Also even with his bad scoring effort tonight he is still avg 32 ppg this series on one leg and just played 48 minutes.

I’ve never enjoyed Embiid stans hating on Jokic, and Embiid hasn’t made a conference finals, but he plays through injuries in the playoffs, dove for a critical lose ball in OT, got a triple-double, and the win.

Let’s see what happens. They go to Philadelphia for game 6. If they win they have game 7 in New York. If they win that they face the winner of Pacers-Bucks, who doesn’t look invincible.

Let’s see if Embiid can step up. The first step is game 6 in Philly. Like I said, I’m not an Embiid stan, but he did have a 50 point playoff game not that long ago. Let’s see what he does in game 6.

I hate Embiid's attitude and personality, I hate his flopping and foul baiting, but he's one of the singular best talents in the history of the NBA.

Can someone explain the difference between him and HIM in a basketball context? Does simply capitalizing mean some other level has been achieved?

Larry Bird is him.
Larry Bird is HIM.

Definitely want the second Bird. Clearly better. Do I have this right?

What a weird time to hate on him. The man looks like he can barely walk and got a triple double anyway. Good on him deferring on offense to his teammate who was hot.

If I was the 76ers, I'd get a haul for him. Maybe flip him out West?

I agree. Trade him to Golden State 8-)
Rest in peace Kobe & Gianna

Larry Bird was HIM from 1980-1988. After that he was just him and wasn’t HIM anymore.

The Jazz never won a championship because Karl Malone wasn’t HIM and John Stockton wasn’t HIM, and Hakeem, Michael Jordan, and Tim Duncan were all HIM.

Why not just use Him? Saves capitalizing two more letters.

1. I didn’t invent it.

2. I think it’s supposed to be about how the person is larger than life, a superstar, THE MAN! There can only be 1. It’s like the BAMF belt in the UFC.

Lol. Number one, I know. Just having a laugh here.

For number two, wouldn’t HIMSELF be superior then? Has anyone tried that? It has more than double the letters.
