less than 1hr....can't wait! I thought I'd never see another series where the #8 seed has a chance against the #1 seed after last years playoffs.

I'm not sure where you're getting this information from. There's been more hatred directed against the Celtics on the Raptors board and obviously the Lakers board and a few others are bad, but most team boards I've lurked on don't have the same opinions. There are also a lot of people who are rooting for Garnett to win a Championship since he finally has a good team around him, and there are also people who feel Boston has the best shot at winning the Championship among the Eastern teams.

I don't even need to "lurk around" or gather information, look around you (i.e: this very thread). Obviously you need to more "lurking"... and don't forget to gather and show your "sources", lol.

GO Hawks GO!

Yep, me too... but it's unfortunate he ended in "Boston" and not L.A.

Boston is about to run Atlanta out of that building this afternoon. Over by the half.

Two words: Shaq Sucks.

Moving right along....I see only two possible scenarios for this game.

1. Super-tight game that actually lasts into an Overtime, with Atlanta pulling out a monumentous upset.

2. Boston explodes from the gate en route to a blowout win.

I have a bad feeling about Boston blowing out ATL in the first half as well. But no matter what happens this afternoon, I want to say a big THANK YOU to the Atlanta Hawks for saving the 1st round this year.

I hate when people call these guys the "Big Three".. they'll be the big three when they do something, like win a championship.

Both teams jittery. I am guessing Boston will settle in a lil later. WE'll see if ATL can stay strong... The rim is the biggest enemy of each team so far.

There's been about six missed calls on the Celtics so far.
