The Wolves didn't have anyone that could guard Jokic tonight, either, but ANT has been unstoppable all series. It's really been incredible.

Was the same as last year's playoffs too, unstoppable. Looking like the same issue showing up again, ANT's getting his cause you can't stop him, so just work on taking the rest out - and he doesn't have his Pippen yet.

I much preferred the Wolves in game 2, though I'm not sure it was just an aberration.

Originally had the Nuggets in 6, this series certainly hasn't been a let down.

The team lost, and his reaction is to talk trash to the team that just beat them down twice.

That's weak

Does Minny abandon the full court press? Clearly it’s not working anymore and Nuggets have adjusted. Asking guys like NAW and Jaden to pick up every possession is clearly exhausting them and they have offered nothing offensively. Hell, even KAT was picking up full court a few times.

It’s not working because AG and Jokic are taking up the PG duties. You seen KAT and Reid get stupid fouls trying to press Jokic and AG.

The difference is that Jokic controls all of the offense of Denver. ANT can only dominate his match up where Jokic dominates the opposing coach. That’s the difference between two unstoppable forces. But man ANT is becoming my favourite non Nuggets player in the NBA. The future is bright indeed for this young man

Ant is incredible but he can’t win this series on his own. And neither Towns or Gobert look like championship caliber second options, at least in this matchup.

Denver’s adjustments in G3 and G4 were really successful in ways the Minnesota might not be able to counter. The Nuggets probably won’t shoot that well every night, but their offensive process is back to generating good looks nearly every time down the floor. Jokic especially has looked really really comfortable for the last six quarters.

Can’t wait for game 5.

Gives me 2005 Mavs-Rockets vibes. Both teams won the road games until the Mavs closed it out at home in game 7. Ultimately, the Rockets are one of the only teams in history to blow a 2-0 lead after winning the first two games on the road. Minnesota in danger of doing the same thing.

Never ceases to amaze how many people are prepared to declare a series over before a team has that all important 4th win. If Nuggets complete the comeback they almost certainly go the finals now. Just the Celtics (who will have had the easiest run to the finals ever) will stand in the way of these Nuggets going back to back..Something Duncan’s Spurs could never do, nor Lebrons Heat. Crazy.

Edit - Heat did go back to back. My bad boys!

At the expense of a mob coming for my throat, I do wonder how much of game 2 was driven by the Nuggets being caught off guard by the Gobert absence. Not saying the Wolves are better without Gobert on defense, that's obviously not true. But you have to wonder if the Nuggets came to play one way, were met with a different personnel and game plan, and got knocked out early.

The Heat did go back-to-back (not that winning B2B titles with a super team is impressive).

So they did, definitely my bad for relying on my memory and not looking that up before throwing it out there. Embarrassing.

Remember some people in here said the Nuggets had played weaker teams last year and now they’re facing a real opponent after Game 2.

Just make sure you keep that same energy if Denver wins it out and let it be known that Denver won with a much harder path to the championship.

Don't worry. The narrative will quickly change if Denver wins again.

"The Lakers are old"

"Minny is Minny"

"OKC is young/Dallas is a one-man show"

"Boston would be a play-in team in the West"

What they said is true. What they left out is that they beat all of those teams with ease.

With that said, the Series isn't over. Some of the "this is what happens when you claim xyz after 2 games" takes are pretty much doing the same thing after these 2 games, no?

I mean it was a fact. Beating better teams like the current Wolves elevates them and Jokic. If theyre able to win a title this year and go through Minny+Celtics, then Jokic will have an argument for best 2 year run ever, imo.

Same happened to Mavs against the Clips recently. Road team won every game of the series until Lac won game 7 at home.

I know Edwards is a "dawwwwwg" but between his comments about talking back to Murray (when Edwards has done this all playoffs), and now this? He just comes off a bit like a loser..like he's trying super hard to pretend he isn't rattled and is coming off like a disrespectful 22 year old.

Inexperience is showing in this interview. Ant WILL be that guy. Mentally, he's not **** close yet.

You got punked..take it like a man, not like a whiny boy.

Eh i dont see anything wrong w/ his reaction here.........if our gameplan was to leave their worst shooter a non shooter really and he put up 27,7,6 on 92% shooting, missed 1 shot all game from field or free throws id be in disbelief too

Let Edwards talk, it's fine. I think Murray feeds on that.
