I was watching the second half, and I didn't notice any bad calls. What specific plays are at issue?

I have never been one to base a whole game on the refs. However, there is some validity to the "refs" argument when you have some an obvious disparity and that leads to your team getting down and playing catchup.

I thought the refs in the 1st half were terrible and in the 3rd quarter the Cetls kicked the Lakers ass..but... if you recognize by eyes and stats that there were bad calls then of course that is going to impact the game.

the free throws were 19-2 at halftime. I believe one of those 2 attempts was a technical. They took the Lakers out early.

Each and every time Powe got fouled and deserved to be at the line. He was catching the ball right at the rim after Rondo penetrated. Lakers put Powe on the line and NONE were bogus calls.

OTOH, your team got royally screwed in the first half.

Kobe should have had 8-10 FTAs but got only 1 for a technical IIRC. I saw Gasol get fouled at least three times in the act of shooting. Say he should have had an-and 1 and about 4 more FTs--in the first half, alone.

Worst thing the officials did to the Lakers was give Kobe two ticky tack fouls in the first half. That changed the game.

I thought the Lakers just got blown out in the third. They got POWENED. LAL closed to 9 but soon went down 21.

FOR THE REST OF THE GAME the reffing was pretty close. I thought the refs tried to let LA back in a bit.

Remarkable comeback at the end didn't end until a bad shot by Sasha.

OVERALL: Lakers can't say the refs made them go down 21 when Powe was killing them, but they can say the should have had 12-15 more FTS for sure.
Bye bye Beal.

All right. That's entirely possible, because I missed the first half. And the officiating throughout the entire playoffs has been pretty slanted towards the home team.

Lakers did get screwed in the first half

I couldn't believe some of those calls. Where Pau got foul there should of been an and 1

I didn't notice any complaining. LA deserved that treatment after all the bull **** calls they got in the previous series.

Honestly what are you trying to accomplish? Why don't you post in a more reasonable and mature manner?

I agree. The Lakers deserved that blowout in the 3rd quarter. But the referees set a tone for the game. When it's 19-1 in an entire half, it can affect the way they play on both offense and defense.

You mentioned the 2 fouls on Kobe, but actually his first THREE fouls were questionable. The 3rd one was a flop by Pierce. Next season he'll get fined for that.

Pretty much. 3rd quarter was the Lakers' fault. 1st half was the Ref's fault.

The whole game was Radmanovic's fault. Please please please, Kobe or Ariza on him the whole game.

Wow, at one point in the 3rd quarter, the FTA were 26-2 in favor of Boston. I can't remember ever seeing anything like that. I don't just mean in a Laker game, I mean ANY game. Rec league, Euro league, NBDL, NCAA, NBA. Never seen that before.

The Lakers definitely got hosed on calls in the 1st half of game 2. The second half was called pretty evenly on both sides. I thought the Lakers fouled quite a bit after slow rotations and getting beat in transition. The Celtics, on the otherhand, were able to play defense with impunity. Lakers should have definitely gotten at least 8-10 more FTs.

1) if you ref a game based on previous series you have issues.

2) which calls were so terrible? I would be happy to counter

that was a good no-call on Radman's dunk that made it a 4-point play..I mean, it wasn't like he committed one of the biggest travels in NBA history or anything..

Leon Powe's were all deserved..he **** on LA's frontcourt..that's what happens when Michelle Tafoya has bigger balls than your PF and C..
