When will we just change the name of 25 of the 30 teams to the Washington Generals?

Please advise….

If you're going to bring that movie up, this is the better scene:

"You cut him. You hurt him. You see, he's not a machine. He's a man!"

Some stray scenes that come to mind.

1. From "Bull Durham," learning your cliches.

2. From "He Got Game," 1 on 1

3. From "Jerry Maguire," Show me the Money

4. From "The Gambler," the good movie not the terrible remake, a fixed game.

So many scenes from Raging Bull, but its this for me:

0:49 to 1:54 is one of the greatest shot scenes in film history. Haunting.

"Alright, now, I don't want them to gain another yard. You blitz ALL NIGHT. If they cross the line of scrimmage, I'm gonna take every last one of you out. You make sure they remember, FOREVER, the night they played the Titans."

Still to this day, I have no idea the terminology means but I was so pumped and ready to play for this coach. :)

One of my favorite sports movie scenes is from North Dallas Forty, featuring John Matuszak (former NFL first overall draft pick and two time Super Bowl champion) because it captures that nexus between play and work, game and business.

Key lines:
"Job! I don't want no f*cking job! I want to play football, you a**hole!"
"Every time I call it a game, you call it a business. And every time I call it a business, you call it a game."

Just because it happened to you, doesn't make it interesting.

In theory, there is no difference between theory and practice. In practice, there is.

Yesterday I was lying; today I'm telling the truth.

There are better movies but this scene is just so attention grabbing, if this movie was on in a background I would stop to watch this part.

TO this day the best scene in any sports movie for me. The music the characters. Fantastic.

Don't mean to take this too far OT, but I've always found it crazy how Mark Wahlberg's horrible racist past has managed to be forgotten. He did some horrible, horrible things, but most people don't even know about it.
