I would've voted for the Pelicans and the Sixers. Their margins for error have grown exceedingly small in terms of injury to key guys.

The Bucks situation just seems like it’s going to unravel much quicker than people think.

Giannis didn't play a single game lol

How did Doc Rivers take the #1 team in the conference and make them play 500 basketball? Fans always say coaches don't really matter but Doc's unusual suckiness must make us reconsider.

Embiid missing Simmons = swept by the Celtics in the 1st rd
Tatum missing Brown = swept by the Nets in the 1st rd

These were fairly recent examples of teams that underachieved just because the Robin was missing. Now you’re asking a coach to succeed without Batman? Ok

What the hell are you talking about? Giannis missed 5 games out of 40, who cares?

Kings, Pels, Bucks, Sixers, Heat are leading the polls by a large margin.

Not beyond the realms of possibility Giannis asks for a trade this off season.

Bucks have very little assets to try bring many decent reinforcements.

Probably should have moved Middleton on whilst he he had some trade value.

Beasley and Crowder are horrible and need to be expunged.

I just think the roster is thin, they’re short on assets, Dame doesn’t look his happiest, and Giannis is a physical monster that is gonna get banged up with his style of play. And Doc is complete trash.

Giannis/Dame are good enough to keep them more than afloat in the East, but they’re basically stuck with Doc. I think we could see trade demands.

not the heat

Heat have a decent future Bam, Herro, Jaquez, etc and Jimmy still has time in him...they just need to start gaining real assets and not relying on these undrafted guys figuring it out

Yeah, Terry too. Still need some big bodies though. We lost so many games this year because of poor rebounding.

this is a list of old, injured, and cr@p orgs

the ONLY team with a "future" is sac, and the question with them is are they actually that good or are they benefitting from a screwy season in the nba

the question put forth by the op overlooks the macro of it - ie the nba is shifting gears to a more egalitarian league and youth. so far four years into the 20's we have 4different ring teams.

EVERY VET TEAM LISTED is both old and with injury history...they will be older to follow with looming what if's concerning health

so basically there is no future

Kings, Pels leading the poll, wide margin. At this moment.

Followed by the Bucks, Heat, Sixers.

Orlando easily, Main stars are 21-22, have multiple firsts coming up (even has a pick swap for 2026 with phx) and has cap space to add a big time guy this off season if they choose to go that route. Bad money is off the books also (fultz) and have a team option to get rid of Ingles. If Anthony black or Jett pan out it's a bonus

I can only fit 10 options in the poll. I guess I could take another team out and put Magic in but I thought it would be weird since people have already voted.

Hmm maybe the Bucks could reinforce their squad with a 2 time MVP, FMVP, and DPOY caliber player?

Additionally, maybe their 3x 1st team All-NBA guard will play a full series!
